An earlier version of the Government's top-secret list of banned sites was leaked on to the web in March, revealing the scope of the filtering could extend significantly beyond child porn.
About half of the sites on the list were not related to child porn and included a slew of online poker sites, YouTube links, regular gay and straight porn sites, Wikipedia entries, euthanasia sites, websites of fringe religions such as satanic sites, fetish sites, Christian sites, the website of a tour operator and even a Queensland dentist.

yeah we have some of the most expensive and slowest net in the world. however i could not give two shits if sites like /b/ and kiddie porn sites are censored really. if you are doing that sort of shit your life should be censored. these things are always coming up in the world i just dont give a shit cos i dont look at dodgy shithouse sites. although the gay porn thing is stupid cos gays like porn as much as heteros....

We should censor principles. If you have principles, they should probably be censored anyway. Since I don't have principles, I don't care.

this has been coming for more than a year. It concerns me more for the massive loss of speed than anything else. Every single independant expert gas said this is ridiculous and will not do what it is supposed to, only cause other problems. Pointless.
