my new years eve was awesome.

today at work though, there were some guys who were still doing new years in the street at 2 pm. let it go.

That's quite sad.

mhmmm. I started at 12 30... Cops turned up and made them pour out their booze and told them to leave. They were back within a half hour playing ball across the busy street, drinking again, generally abusive to anything wearing a skirt...

The idea of going out to celebrate New Year loses its appeal when you know there'll be a lot of drunken assholes around turning it something you'd rather forget than remember.

I'm kind of a non new years person. It is a nothing event... I don't enjoy going out with the typical new years type crowd. Was a blue moon though last nite though, I spent the four hours before midnight laying on the bed with a fan in the dark listening to an epic storm outside. hah. phoenix style awesome newyears.
