It was a Urusei Yatsura riff - Pow R Ball, I think.

The first full song I learnt (no bullshit) was Radiohead's Paranoid Android (Johnny and Thom's parts).

Actually the first riff I ever learned was The White Stripes' Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground but I was 9 and didn't know how to tune the guitar so I just detuned the E string till it sounded right and learned the notes by ear from that one string.

that's really the first you learned?! That's amazing! I love that riff... dun DUN chunchunchunchunchunchunchun dun-dUn-dun-dUn-duhduh dow-wow woooooooo. I love JD's simplistic, inventive riffs... The bass riff in Colony, for example (0-10-12 on lowest string for 5 minutes) is perfect beyond belief.
