yeah, they seem to be moving. post thoughts and stuff you already know about the new sonic studio.

I'd like to know when they're shutting it down / setting it back up in the new studio

It truly is the end of an era. Wonder where they will move next? Maybe they will find another place in New York or set up shop in Thurston & Kim's neck of the woods in Mass.

It somehow suits them to be creative in the middle of a city, do you not think? Goes with their style, somehow. Don't know why I should feel that way, I just do.

It's a shame they had to move, as they seemed to be fairly attached to the place. It seemed to have a influence of it's own.

They're probably going to Israel and getting back to their Jewish heritage.

are you guys sure they are going to find a new place? running a studio is not that cheap, and i don't think sonics are earning as much money as in the lollapalooza days.

I was just going to make a thread about the "Goodbye Sonic" sign in the studio but saw there was already a thread. It's pretty cool.

is there any info or lists of the equipment that was at Echo Canyon anywhere? on-line???

They moved EC to Northampton, no?

i would assume the studio operation has been supplanted to northampton.
