Woo! Daniel Smith signed the inside of my 7" sleeve and drew a really cool heart on it....and this bracelet that my friend and I picked out at an antique store for his girlfriend, that he forgot at the store, was found by Megan Smith, who thought it was beautiful and kept it! The in-store was great....looking forward to the main concert in a few hours....I hope she's wearing the bracelet!

...oh, and they were selling the new Sufjan Stevens CD early! Woo hoo.

That Sufjan Stevens reference just gained you the permanent grain of salt re: issues of taste. Sorry I went so in-depth on the Lightning Bolt thread. I see it all so clearly now.
I didn't realize I was talking to a fan of Adult Contemporary music.
(honestly, no offense intended; all personal taste is valid, but I see how far afield we are from each other now)

I have a copy of the new Sufjan. I win.

To accuse me of having "no depth" musically is way off base (and you would realize this if you knew me better), but I am secure enough in my taste not to be bothered by this.
We all like what we like, and that was intended as a ribbing and not a slam.

Grain of salt? Sounds like a slam....As I recall, we like a lot of the same bands, you and I.

Anyway--I have a moral dilemma now. My friend's girlfriend wants me to tell Megan that the bracelet was not meant for her and get it back. I don't think I can do this and blow her bubble that the nice bracelet was not from a fan....but I don't want to hurt my friend's feelings.

Someone tell me what they would do about the bracelet....I have to leave soon! Help!
