An old friend ran for City COuncil in Somerville Ma back in the late 90's. He was doing really well, and when the media started to report on it, the DemoMachine swung into action and suddenly Ray Flynn, former mayor, was campaiging for the party hack. Yes, my friend lost and the partyman won.

Good luck, there is a lot of anger against both parties, you need to figure out how to play on that.

NY is being driven into the ground by the competing elite factions, we elected Spitzer but the banksters/mossad took him out, now they're pounding on his replacement, Paterson. The right wing is pissed because Joe Bruno got busted for being a corrupt shit-the demos are just as rotten.
