Hey guys, I've mentioned earlier that me and my friend formed a band that we named Jesus Stickers (credits to mr Genteel Death ... I think it was a name of one of his earlier tracks that I've stumbled upon on his myspace). Shit electronics, beats and generally messy atmosphere.

Now the other guy who plays with me who also happens to be a talented painter and visual artist, put together a video for one of the tracks that we've put together. In my opinion that's the weakest one of all tracks we did so far but it doesn't really matter. I like that video quite much.

nah, not yet. The plan is to have 10 tracks ready by the end of the summer. We have 3 ready so far.

One of them you've already heard (in the "Help me find a name for a track" thread or something like that). This one's pretty uplifting, yes, and then we have one that's closer to my ambient standard, that one's lot darker.

do you split the work for the tunes strictly? like one of you makes the beats, one is there for the noisier things or is it more like everybody does what he wants and afterwards we see what would fit together?
I think it sounds (this video) like there was some thought going on before you started to work on it.

the friend has a large collection of peculiar vintage vinyl records, so he usually finds some good samples to work with, I then either add on some beats or different sounds to put some structure to the whole thing and then pass it over to the friend who makes the final cut.

have to say again, that I reeeeaaaallyyyyyy like this one. have listened to it twice today and it just kicks ass. the sound of the beat reminds me of an electron machinedrum (autechre use these things).
is the melody from the said vinyl collection?
