What Shirts is SY Touring with? / Jimmy Kimmel Performance
 

well this threa is pretty self explainatory.

What t-shirts is Sonic Youth bringing on tour with them? When I saw them on the nurse tour they only had the funky-donkey shirt and the hot wire SY shirt despite the fact that they had made a bunch of sonic nurse shirts. Which shirts are they touring with from the internet store? any new ones?

does anyone have a link to SY's performance on jimmy kimmel last night? I missed it ,..youtube??

Shit. I forgot all about Jimmy Kimmel....
On the tour, the shirts I saw were RR, Sonic Nurse, and the SY Savage one.

which shirt is the rather ripped one?

The album cover is on the front, didn't see the back.
I also believe there were different colors of that shirt.

I forgot about the Kimmell show, too. Damn. I also forgot about the World Cafe thing last Friday. I coulda taped that one, too, dammit.

Just watched the youtube thing. Man. The camera crew sure was in love with Thurston. What's the deal. Not even much of Kim.

& I despise those stupid pan from the audience shots. Christ, I could have done a better job with a camcorder!

Did the camera ever leave Thurston? Cool performance, though.

The shirts I could remember were Nurse, a brown RR shirt like the cover, that white one with the neon cartoon like the towel, 100% Dirty, and I think there was a green one but I can't remember.

Yeah there was a green 'Rather Ripped' one.

Decent performance.

I don't like it when a band plays the same song over and over again when they perform live on tv. I hated it last time when SY played Unmade Bed twice (although I like that song much better than Incinerate) on Leno and Conan. They were great performances, no doubt, but they were virtually the same. I really hope they don't play Reena on Conan in August. That would bug me. They should play Rats. Lee never gets any camera time and I don't know if he's ever even sang a song on a Late Night show performance.

I can relate but it's more business related than anything. Bands perform whichever song is considered to be their single at the moment.

yeah, new sy shirt would be nice.
