The Sonic Youth Doc. that was shown on IFC...does anyone know when this might be available on DVD?

I thought it was excellent....a friend of mine is assembling a small experimental music fest here and wanted to show it as part of the 'cinema' portion of the fest...

other recommendations for GREAT music docs....besides Jandek, Arthur Kane, and Townes Van Zandt?

"On tour with neubauten.org" is not.

widely gettable on dvd.

the sy one never got a dvd release.

the Pixies have a pretty bad ass doc playing pretty frequently on the DOCUMENTARY Channel. It's on DVD already.

I have it on tape SOMEWHERE, but I think I didn't label it so it might as well be lost. I have to hunt that down.

oh i have that too, my dad made me a tape years ago that had the nirvana unplugged set and the pixies documentary on it. i love tapes, dvds suck!
