i was on that show once. (not serious) all the idol shows are lame. brendan canning said it right.

I think it's a pity what they do to the winners. There has been some real talent on American Idol. I think it would be far more advisable to go a ways into the competition, gain some fans, and quit. If you win, your image is screwed.

either way. its just giving them a taste of fame. they are basically known for a week, then no one cares anymore, onto the next season. they may get money, but they'r still lameos that no one cares for. poor kids.

I only watch the first couple of episodes for each season for the American version. Once all the crappy singers are gone, then I stop watching.
