Plans for the weekend?
 

It's Friday night for me, sometime on Friday for most of you I imagine.

What are your plans for the forthcoming weekend, if any?

I need more guitar strings so I'm getting the train into town tomorrow. Gonna meet up with bandmates and go to Pizza Hut or something. You?

Tomorrow I'm going to see some archaeology displays, listen to some talks, and see some Roman gladiators knock the shit out of each other. Go for a drink afterwards, bit of shopping, you know the kind of thing.

Sunday, no plans as yet.

My Dad and i are gonna go and about to do somethin today.
I always have Thursdays and Fridays off. So that's my weekend, so this is kind of like my Sunday

Friday night here also. Tonight go out to eat and have some drinks, basically a chill night. Saturday: work on my son's crib, run some errands, dig at some shops, go to a get-together and go see Vampire Belt (Chris Corsano, Bill Nace) with some other psych/noise/folk/improv groups. what amazes me is this show is $3.

Chester ampitheatre. We get Vikings on the Wirral sometimes though.

I saw a guy with a mullet on Hollyoaks once. I don't go near Cheshire anymore.

Jamming tomorrow, and hanging out with gf tomorrow. I have to start her on better music...I've been delaying it for a while now. She ONLY likes gangsta rap, so I'll start with some NWA then Dalek and then possibly she'll like MBV if she really likes Dalek.

Drink, hangout, drink, be sarcastic, drink, wallow, laugh at stuff.

I love the two LPs Ice Cube did a lot of years ago, The Predator and Lethal Injection. They are classics, by any standards.

Why change her musical taste? Cap some asses or something.

There's a salt museum in Northwich, you know. You're really missing out.

Hah. Dalek to MBV is quite a jump. There must be an interval somewhere...

Nah, that will never top Prescot Clock Museum.

Tonight I'm going to dinner with friends and to drink beer and watch cartoons....Tomorrow I'm recording music all day with another friend...Sunday is church, then I'll probably watch movies or write.

Oh yeah, I went there a few years ago because they had an exhibition about pubs or something. Nice little place (the museum, not Prescott).

Looney Tunes, The Adventures of Tintin and Roobarb and Custard are the cartoons of choice in our house.

We'll probably be watching The Brak Show.

I'm gonna go see my new most favorite local band Mute Era open for Oneida.
