this Q's for dali lovers
i've had this documentary on dali for quite some time. it's the one with Orson Wells narrating the whole thing ,and in one segment dali talks about an object he created that was inspired by Hermes (the staff of Hermes) but i can not seem to find it , or a discription of it , anywhere. have anyone of you seen this doc? and if so, can you help me out. i am a huge fan of this man and it's killing me that i cant find any info on this object. years ago i bought a book on dali that cost me $125 and i still could not find it in there.
please help. |
Well, I'm not a Dali fan, but I am a fan of Hermes. His staff is called a Caduceus, and there is an artwork (not an object) with that title on display right now at County Hall Gallery in London:

I love the guy's work, but I can't answer your question. (then why post?)
