In Gnod we trust

Okay, I think there's no "official thread" about them yet, so here it is.
I wanted to share the links to their kinda "fresh"

BLOG

and

Soundcloud page

if there's already a thread, I don't care.
thanks.

edit: myspace page

Gnod are awesome. I need more of their stuff though, I'm only in possession of their Not Not Fun tape.

nicfit 12.30.2010 08:36 AM

Myspace link added. I'm confused by the new myspace layout (the whole myspace layout , not gnod's page's) so I wouldn't know what's available for dling and stuff. Enjoy.
And yes, my wife talked about them on several occasions.

Gnod are a real breath of fresh air in England. They were incredibly enjoyable DJs at Supernormal, even though I didn't know it was some of them spinning records at the time. And that's not to mention they put on a rock and roll show the day after which was spectacular. Neil sent me a link to pre-Gnod stuff that roots them in excellent Sabbath and embryo-Sabbath territory. It's a shame it only got put out on limited cdr but in reality it truly deserves a more widespread release . The fact that it might stay buried in the mind and souls of those who got to buy it or listen to it on the now abandoned in droves myspace is an indication that (not only)England is ignoring deserving talent at home.

The CDR.... I forget the name, it has Pagoda in the title, fucking kills. Great band.......

Great band, good people. I'm not so into their recordings but live they're one of the better bands doing the rounds at the moment.

The Watcher 01.17.2011 09:29 AM

They were great last Saturday. They're also a refreshingly humble British band that really happens to slay 100%.
