Shoji Hano @ Cafe Oto, 12+13 April 2011
Does anyone have any credible rumours to share about who's going to be playing with him?
|
Awww, you got my hopes up that there was news.
|
Nefeli - You do know that Shoji Hano's playing a couple of dates in your part of the world quite soon, do you?
|
I met Shoji last year. what a great guy!
|
Haino is playing here the 13th, so he might join Hano the night before.
|
Still don't know who he's playing with, but I'm going to see him on the Wednesday.

well, now that's all over, can anyone get these uploaded to Mega? I also saw that there was an A'dam show with Haino, O'Malley and Orembachi at OCCM that I was hoping Martin or some other good soul taped and will upload???

Hitting Oxes this Sunday, though - can't wait. |
After all my fuss, I didn't make it to Shoji Hano. Had some dental work done that afternoon, and was in quite a bit if pain.

I didn't tape it, but I uploaded some clips to youtube. You'll have to do it with those and my word that it was absolutely brilliant: http://www.youtube.com/user/p0kkeher.../8/aeofP_KrQhE (uploaded some Haino from Roadburn too) Quote:
On Friday I was vibrating on the toilet during Winter's set, I nearly passed out during Sunn0))) (with Haino on vocals) and then I finally did collapse during Caspar Brotzmann Massaker. Missed most of that, which is a pity because I later heard he had Michael Gira coming out on vocals during the encore. Immodium and water kept me alive on Saturday, but I didn't make it til the end of Swans that night either. Godverdomme. |
Yes, went and taped Oxes - fun show. See also my post here:
http://www.electrical.com/phpBB3/vie...rt=60#p1326506 Pity about being ill on Roadburn, the Brotzmann/Gira and Sunn0)))/Haino collabs sound amazing. Feeling better? |
Yes, fever is gone and although my stomach still hurts at times I was already able to go back to work on Monday. It's not fair.
I think the Caspar Brotzmann/Michael Gira collab wasn't planned as such but just a spontaneous thing. Because I noticed Gira jumping around in the crowd, waving his arms like a lunatic earlier on during Brotzmann's performance. It was hilarious. edit: hehe, he's on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kU2hX...eature=related he's the guy with the cowboy hat of course |
