The new New York Dolls album?
 

Anybody? I've heard it's really good. Wonder if it's on vinyl.

I've not purchased it yet, but the title alone is superb: "One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This." Usually I find long titles like that to be unbearably stupid. But there's a lot of truth to it, for those fans who have been waiting decades to hear something new from the Dolls, and for the band themselves especially.

I hear it has a different sound than the earlier stuff, which to be quite frank is fine with me as long as it sounds good (and I hope it does). But yeah, I don't expect it to sound like Johnny's still playing the guitar and all of that.

Apparently they sold out at one of my record stores. & apparently it's not on vinyl. I might get it anyway. Have one on order at the pop music store.

It's just an old, leathery mask that they both take turns wearing.

The whole thing sketches me out.....not even worth a download for me. "They" didn't do anything for me when they were on the Henry Rollins Show.

Yeah, I'm not as turned on about as I was when I went record shopping last week. Good thing it wasn't in the store! There's so much else I could get instead. Keep thinking about the Wolf Eyes things I saw on vinyl.
