Summer School
 

One of my friends is convinced that doing summer school will lower my GPA, and my overall rank in my class. I don't see how it can. Anyone have any experience?

Uhhh it shouldn't, unless they put the mean teachers on summer duty. Sounds like he's trying to sabotage you for your rank.

She claims that her friend had the same grades as I did, but didn't get the same rank because she took summer school. I think she got an A- somewhere in there, or maybe didn't get an A in summer school.

isnt the point of summer school to raise your grades?

i mean if you fail summer school maybe...

it shouldn't lower your grades. colleges and universities love that kind of crap.

It will lower your gpa if you do poorly in your classes, but should raise them if you do well. It all depends on your current gpa and how well you do in summer classes.

I never wen't to summer school, but I SAW Summer School, the movie. It was funny. Good 80's film.
