i've talked to a black girl on a SY concert (and that was the only one that I've ever been to). She had a Ramones T-Shirt on, talked much about Pavement and Yo La Tengo and was generally super-nice to me and laughed at my eastern-european accent. Cool chick.

Guys from TV on the radio (except Sitek) are a bit chocolate...ish, and they've been on sy's gigs for sure or at least they listen to sy. They're too nyc and arty for not being involved with sy's work...
