who would win in a fight between Marky Mark and Mark E Smith?

I say Marky Mark because he has the entire Funky Bunch behind him and how long would it take to get someone to own up to being in The Fall??

Glice 03.25.2011 03:47 PM

MES is from Salford. I don't know where Marky Mark's from, but I don't remember him having a Geordie accent, so my money's with Smith.

Also, Smith's a lager drinker, innie?

Nah, definitely Salford.

I reckon it tastes like totally unpalatable piss, but if you wake up having spent the night drinking it you feel like gold

jon boy 03.25.2011 06:40 PM

he was born there, but grew up in prestwich.

the ikara cult 03.25.2011 06:44 PM

i dunno really, I checked on Wikipedia and it said Salford, which was my hunch. As a lickspittle southerner I have never darkened the town walls of either Manchester suburb. Freddie Mercury grew up in the same town as me dont you know?

5% proof or 5% alcohol vol. there is a difference.

I dont know about UK but oz labels booze with a vol, not proof.

ink. 03.27.2011 08:58 PM

Alcohol proof is a measure of how much alcohol (ethanol) is contained in an alcoholic beverage. The term was originally used in the United Kingdom and was defined as 7/4 times the alcohol by volume (abv). The UK now uses the abv standard instead of alcohol proof. In the United States, alcoholic proof is defined as twice the percentage of abv. The measurement of alcohol content and the statement of this content on the bottle labels of distilled beverages, also called liquors or spirits, is regulated by law[where?]. The purpose of the regulation is to provide pertinent information to the consumer.
