no, it's some event that lydia lunch and psychic tv are part of... i can't remember what else there was, but i saw it on the paradiso site a while ago.

i saw her a few times in recent years.
one big bad let down. reminded me more of ruby wax than the what i was expecting from listening to her earlier work.

Her solo spoken word stuff (reading from Paradoxia, I think) didn't do much for me, but the moment she has at least one musician behind her she is electrifying. I saw her about twelve years ago doing a show with just her backed by Rowland S Howard, and it was amazing.

I've filmed for her twice in Holland and they were great shows.
1st the "Willing Victim" tour with Nels Cline, Norman Westberg, Algis Kyzis and Vinnie Signorelli.
The 2nd time she performed with Terry Edwards, Ian White and Marc Viaplana.
I haven't seen her spoken word performances before.
I got into her through Richard Kern's movies.
