Yinzer is slang for Pittsburgher. The white trash around here say Yinz when speaking in the 2nd person to multiple people.

I don't have a pittsburgh accent though. The only western pennsylvanian thing I do is not emphasizing questions differently from statements. People around here think it is really weird that I say "soda" instead of "pop" and they think I say words like button funny.

I wasn't aware people still used the word pop. It's so retro.

Come to western pennsylvania. Everyone here looks at me like I'm some high-brow snob sitting on my throne above them when I say soda. Seriously, they'll ask you if you want filet mignon with your "soda" at restaurants. Awful cruel bunch western pennsylvanians are.

Well, Pennsylvania would be considered Yankee territory, but there are many geographically confused young men that wear confederate flag belt buckles, white tee-shirts, camo/orange hats, and tight jeans with a large key ring sticking out of their pocket here.

Western PA is a truely curious place. Between Butler, Allegheny, Beaver, Lawrence, Mercer and Washington counties we are pretty diverse in urban environments and people.
