Did anyone see James Iha at the show friday night?
 

Yeah, i was in the sonic youth pit, after sonic youth got off, i saw James on the side so i left the pit cause fuck the YYY's and talked with james for a good 20 mins, took a picture with him then took a great picture with lee....i was amazed to see james iha there, just had to share that. I will def be sharing some amazing sonic youth pictures from friday night, i had a sick zooming camera, just hafta wait to develop them.

I ran into James at the downtown Borders here in Chi-town a couple years back. It wasn't long after "Adore" came out so I guess that was '98. I would have been about 17 at the time and I was a pretty big Pumpkins fan in my teens so it was pretty exciting. He was kinda screwing with me at first pretending not to be him but eventually relented. I dunno, maybe he didn't want to be bothered, but he was nice enough. I told him how much I liked "Adore" and gave him a copy of my demo tape which I happened to have on me and that was that....
