I love old 8mm and 16mm film. I wanted to make a short film using either for class, but I don't own either. I love old footage, there's so much more... art in it, especially for short films. Very visually satisfying, for me.

Erm... I've just opened an email from you. Should I be virus checking my PC each day for the next week or two?

I collect SY records, CDs, books, etc. I bet there's not many around here do that.

You don't have to worry about that. They're not on my computer at work or at home. I have them encapsulated on disc and stashed in a very safe place. I only use them to launch attacks on serious hackers who jeopardise my existance. I've dealt with them appropriately in the past... when the time was right.

I used to collect toys, but storage and display became a problem.
Too much clutter.

Very big words, Porkman. Very big. So big they barely fit on your screen?

Do you mean like: If you want to run away, go to page 26. If you want to stab the troll in the face, go to page 59.

LPs & CDs.

Rock T-shirts.

Used to collect German beer glasses but that's become less interesting.

porkmarras 08.17.2006 08:38 AM

Apart from the obvious(records) i go through phases when i buy loads of junk
from charity shops, junk shops, markets etc etc.I have a think for vintage music magazines in particular.

gmku 08.17.2006 08:40 AM

Oh, yeah, I like vintage music publications, too. Spin was pretty good for a while, late 80s to early 90s. I have some back issues from when I read it a lot back then, and I'm always on the watch for good issues from that era. Alternative Press, believe it or not, used to be good back then, too.
