Recent favorite brews?

Capital Brewery (Madison, Wisc.) Maibock. Mmm, mmm. Malty sweet.

Also, Two Brothers Brewing Co.'s Domaine DuPage French Country Ale. Sort of Belgian dubbel-like.

My faves are India Pale Ale's.....I like the hoppy bitterness, not the malty sweetness.....here's my favorite local Colorado brew.....

Yeah, I like IPAs, too. Three Floyds makes a great one called Alpha King (tho I don't think they call it an IPA, it does taste much like one). Two-Hearted River is another good IPA kind.

Ever try a double-IPA? Mouth puckering!

My top fave style, tho, is Belgian dubbel. I make a homebrewed dubbel that is out of this world.

Not sure about the 'double'...but I've had the Dogfish extra strong IPA...I think it's 9%. More than that and they just don't taste good to me....I like 6-7% abv.

My favorite all-time IPA is from Boonville, CA.

That's cool. i like some of the Czech beers too. There's Pilsner-Urquiel which is pretty known, but then there's this brewery by me that serves like 5 or 6 different Czech beers and they're excellent. i've been meaningto do some research on them.

oooh, yeah. That hop ottin' is REALLY good. Stores don't always carry it around here, tho. I snap it up the rare times it shows up on the shelves.
