OOOOOH snap....I'm there
|
Troy is often referred to as "the armpit of New York." It's sort of like Macon is to Georgia. I bedded a beauty there in Troy once at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in her dorm room. If only her name had been Helen.
|
if her name were helen, it would have truly been a Homer......sorry, had to.....
besides, i'd walk thru a minefield to see this!! but, they'd never come to detroit with this, so i don't have to worry. |
i so want see lee doing his stuff live.
i wanted to make thread about it actually. can anybody, who saw him live explain me how he's performing his sets. how he creates that sound you can hear in any of his solo stuff? Is it only guitar and feedback and lots of pedals or turntabels and something else????? |
Hi greenlight,
I saw Lee And Leah Playing drift earlier this year in brussels. Lee's part consist of 3 things. Reading poetry, playing guitars feedbacks and melodies thru severals delay/looper and he's also playing some of his old stuff like outside my window thru 2 cd players. Sometimes he read and play guitar, sometimes he just read with a cd in background...... It's really interresting to see his solo live performance. I think that everybody who like LEE's music should go to see him live if they can because it doesn't happen so often |
more on the event:
http://empac.rpi.edu/events/2006/drift.html free and on a friday night = hell yeah. and for those that believe that a city can be gauged by the sultriness of their college's dorm rooms, i say walk around downtown and you will see that this place has got its charm. i mean, it has got its skank on too - but then again, every decent town does, i would say... |
