You should check out Mikal Cronin, also the Moonhearts. The latter is the old band of Mikal Cronin.

Ty Segall and Mikal Cronin made an album called Reverse Shark Attack together. It's SICK. Mikal plays in Ty Segall's live band.

I got into him with his last record goodbye bread which is fantastic listen to it right now if you havent! i know he has a big back catalogue but ive yet to really explore it

I like Jay Reatard more but Ty's got some great songs. His singles comp is amazing but some of his albums are sorta inconsistent

This one I remember liking a couple years ago. Also couple of his albums.
I would've wanted to see him around that time, when he was doing a show, but I live in the wrong city.

Is there a thread for noisy overdriven garage rock? I definitely have a thing for that sort of stuff.
