KILLDOZER!!
did anyone see killdozer at the touch&go fest, what were they like?
|
I didn't see them at T&G, but I did see them on South Parade Pier in Southsea, Portsmouth in 1989, and they were every bit as wonderful as I hoped they would be.
|
didn't see them, wish i did, one of my favorite covers ever is their one tin soldier.
|
Can't believe that they are still around.

i think they reformed just for the touch&go fest, i heard it was the original line-up with hobson brothers but i'm not sure. |
I posted a thread with some Killdozer videos from the touch and go festival. I'll find it.

guess i may have been taking them for granted. i used to have Twelve Point Buck but probably only listened to it once. i always figured they were just the midwest version of Flipper.
|
i think they are much funnier than flipper, personally.
|
I heard they were great. Grrrrrrrreat.

twelve point buck is their best lp, and they were much better than flipper (who were great). but a bit pointless to compare them really. |
there are recordings of the killdozer/big black/scratch acid reunion shows at the touch&go 25th anniversary over at dimeadozen.
i'm somewhat hesitant to download them though. i'd definitely pay to go to those reunion shows (especially big black), but listening to a recording of one just doesn't really appeal... you just know that listening to big black in 2006 is going to be worse than recordings from 1986. |
could anybody up some killdozer for me? 12 point buck / little baby buntin' im looking for.
|
I met my ex-wife at a Killdozer show.
That sentence is as funny as it is true, too. |
