iPod halp!!!
 

i need to sync my ipod, the only time i've done it in this computer, i downloaded a plug in for winamp to do it but now everytime i plug the ipod, winamp gets an error and closes so i can't do it there anymore, i tried installing itunes (which fucking sucks) but doesn't let me install it to my computer because i'm running windows millennium. i need a program or something to administer the songs on my icrap, can anyone help me?

sharepod is good to import/export things without itunes' help.but i love itunes.

step two - just use itunes, winamp is shit, i tunes really organises your library well.

step three - use linux

I don't get why people hate iTunes so much...

because apple is the new microsoft it is cool for disliking it. i say fuck it, it is a good product i'm going to use it.

I used to dislike ipods (the 4th gen, 20 gigs) and it was partly because I everyone had one but then when the video came out I changed my attitude and mind. They, as well as iTunes, are good products.

furthermore,

when i got the ipod, i wasn't home so i was using another computer and could (and had to) use itunes, i don't like itunes because a) it organizes everything on a big scroll down list or playlists b) it rips music to .m4a files and c) i hate the interface. winamp is so, but so much better and powerful than itunes it's not even funny, the media library alone is superior to everything else; but of course, people never look past their nose or really make an effort to do things right. no wonder magik markers are so popular, you identify with people saying good enough.

that's why you like itunes and i don't, i like the library function in winamp far better. besides, i can't use itunes.

Because, I just do. I keep it real with a PC.

p.s. is it just me or mp3s are better sounding with wmp10 then with winamp?

you can change the settings so things are imported in mp3.
or at least convert them quite quickly.
i found the windows version a bit shitty but the mac version is excellent.
