Cures depend on how strong your immune system is,i suppose.It changes from person to person.

Don't smoke as much. Drink orange juice. Take dayquil and nyquil.

Don't bother with Sudafed, it's a waste of time

Don't bother with Night Nurse, it'll make you drowsy all the next day.

Day Nurse helped alleviate the symptoms. So did a mix of honey, lemon juice and hot water (with whisky added at night time).

i'm not taking any drugs for it, i want some half-baked/esoteric/home remedy/traditional folklore/urban myth type *cures*

It helps to have a hot shower twice a day, drink lemon tea/soup, and fall asleep on the couch with the tv on.

take some coke, eat a slice of lemon and walk to the shops. you will forget all about it in no time.
