whats the wierdest food youve ever eaten?
 

im talking meat/fish/insects.

im very partial to basashi here. thats raw horse meat.
its kinda like sashimi and its booootiful.
if you ate it amongst raw fish, you wouldnt really notice it wasnt raw fish.

id love to go for some insects like they do in some countries.

anyone else?

i've eaten insects, frogs, snails, sea urchin (which is like eating liquid grossness)

Horse sausage. Not very good.

i eat sea urchin sushi sometimes, its ok but not amazing.
i kinda like snails, or maybe they were some kind of sea snails. not sure, but they were very nice.
how are the insects? crispy?

sushi is sooo good. but i cant afford to eat it often ,cuz im a pig and i cant stop.
i went to a place where they get the octopus out of a tank, slap it down on the table all squirming and then chop its tentacle off and serve it to you.
i couldnt eat it at the time, but looking back, i wish i had.
you cant get fresher than that. it was still moving.

I like some bits of Sushi, but this would probably turn me away from it. The horror!

You can run into some strange things with Indian and Persian cusine, which is among my favorite.

Snails i can't consider it to be strange food as i was fed them often as a kid and they are delicious.I've never tried kangaroo meat but i'd love too.

I've eaten some mushy green stuff that was spicy as hell, only I have no clue what it was.

WASABI. Ouch.

kangaroo meat is supposed to be realy good for you, innit.
snails are delicious indeed, so is sushi generally, wait till you go to japan porker and try the sushi there. the time i tried sea urchin was as sushi, i had to run to the toilet... yuck! fish egg sushi is a bit gross too.
insects tasted a bit like roast beef monster munch if i remember correctly, i was about 10 at the time so i can't remember, they'd been cooked and stuff though, it wasn't for a dare or anything.
i also ate jellyfish once too and found it to be quite similar to sea urchin.

yeah, not a big fan of wasabi.

its pretty nasty watching your food squirm in front of you.
i went to the fish market here on some drunken night out at 6am. we ate sushi there. queue's of people waiting to eat this sushi at 6am.
its was so fresh that some of the things were still moving while people were eating them.
i prefer things that dont move.

Yeah, it definitely wasn't wasabi.

what else is green, mushy and spicy?

was it some mexican thing? i dont eat mexican often but i remember some green mushy looking stuff in there when i did eat it.

I hate wasabi. overpowers everything. i liked fish egg sushi though. not straight, but on a roll. i had my first fish sushi this summer. better than i expected (yumm)

i probly couldnt eat the maggot cheese.

is there a reason for eating that? it cant be pleasant.
