Some old noise
I've been going through some cds of stuff that i have done about 4 years ago and i've found this. It's not my best recorded stuff as i remember playing and recording on rather rudimental equipment but i thought i'd share. If it's rubbish feel free to say so but keep in mind that i might cry a little.

I'll listen when I get home tonight.
|
....by no means bad!
|
Not now, but right now?
|
meh reminds me of like zelda videogame music
|
Perhaps its ambient?
I'm just messing with you, honestly. I am not mean. |
haha
that made me laugh actually. thankyou. |
The whole thing was done while i was doing this sound art course and you can hear it.My tutor used to assign us a specific type of envoirement to record and i would end up always mixing those sounds with my crap playing skills. It was recorded through a cheap keyboard connected through a minidisc player and tape recorder and it was so badly equalized it came out sounding like someone having a migraine.Wait, this is.......
|
....my attempt at a soundrack for a tv show that i loved as a kid.I should really upload this on the world music thread.

There's no stopping me now!More recent stuff. This is an actor friend called Richard(who uk tv viewers might remember for a brief cameo as a bus driver in 'Nathan Barley') reading in my living room from 'The Fall of the house of usher' to wich i mixed a piece of mine heavily influenced by Current 93.Pity his mobile phone went off at the end but we left it there because it broke through the intensity.

|
Bump!Am i that rubbish?Look,i'm about to slash my wrists now.
|
RUBBISH.
Just kidding, dear. I haven't listened yet. Devo is consuming my time currently. |
Downloaded.
Listen later. |
first noise kinda sounded cool.
Sounded like an icecream truck melting. |
Downloading now.
|
nope
|
The second one wouldn't be out of place on a BBC Radiophonic Workshop record, but that's probably because of the recording - sounds quite crude which I don't have a problem with. What was the programme?
I'm just going to listen to the first one again. |

I like this one especially. I've always had a thing for dialogue coupled with music. |
