A Tale of Two Cities

Just finished reading it. I really liked it. One of the few books that I have had to read for school that I enjoyed.

Who has read it?
What did you guys think of it?

I will get into it later on in the year.

i read it in eighth grade and thought it was interesting but really fucking hard to decipher. i imagine i would enjoy it more now that i can actually comprehend that sort of language.

i just started reading Dune for school.

I don't like reading. I thought it was a terrible bore.

I can't imagine having to read it then.

One of only two Dickens novels that I don't hate with a passion.

But as London/Paris books go, Orwell's 'Down And Out..' is more enjoyable (by far), in my opinion.

i went to a private school in eighth grade, so all of the classes were advanced. i fucking hated that place.

they had us read Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, too.

Alex's Trip 10.25.2006 11:05 PM

Ouch, that sucks. I'm reading Julius Caesar later this year.

I always wanted to go to a private school, but money was tight.
