I like them.
Fake Train...Leaves Turn Inside You both are excellent.
I was, in fact, listening to LTIY earlier today.


More productive, in-depth, and interesting discussion can now continue.

I love Fake train, Valentine card really got me into them. I'd say they're in my top 5 Favorite bands.

only really discovering them relativly recently
i have repetition and new plastic ideas and they rule!

I remember I was first introduced to them while watching a skate video in the local skate board shop. I think Valentine... was actually the song that was playing.
Now I always think of Unwound as a skater band.

Probably in The Kids is Emerica video.
They used Valentine Card and Sensible in it.
It's the same video that introduced me to the band.

I can't recall the video, but that's a weird coincidence nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure it's that video. As a skater I've probably seen every skate video made by man and it's the only one that had any Unwound in it.

Leaves Turn Inside You is Great and the only release I have from them. Are they still around? I would love to hear some new stuff from them or see them live!

They broke up in 2002

The other Emerica video (This is skateboarding, is it?) has alot of really good music. Sorry/Really Sorry, as well. (I don't skate anymore though.. I did when I was like, 12, but I sucked ass) My brother does though.

Emerica and Toymachine always have great music in their videos. Ed templeton who is in both teams skates a lot on Sonic Yoof and Fugazi etc.
It's a shame they broke up.

for a second i thought it said unrest and i got all excited. (unrest as in "yes she is my skinhead girl" unrest; apparently there is a metal band by the same name)
