for the most part yes but shouldnt i atleast look like i want some sort of underground 'cred'.

to be honest weve never aimed ourselves towards pleasing the nme or anyone for that matter, and dont much care if we do or not, the fact that weve been in nme a few times is something i really dont give a shit about, ive still never bought it and never will.

'tis ok,don't pay too much attention to what i posted,it wasn't meant as an accusatory thing or such things.I sometimes buy records by bands that have been written about on the NME,i have no shame.Where can we hear some of your stuff then?

Barfly is a horrible, horrible place whose only redeeming feature is the fact it has a quiz machine....that's it.

Well, the Cardiff one is scummy. And not in a good way either. And the sound might be rubbish in The Charlotte.

I'd rather people call the one in Camden 'The Monarch'.I hate it when people call them Barflys.

You could probably say that 90% of those venues are not going to be ideal. Checking through, of the ones I've been to, all of them are pretty toilet-y and with 'patchy' sound.

This is not to put Messr Bars off, of course. I'm sure there's no need to say this but for anyone else reading: ALWAYS be nice to sound guys/ gals. They hold your balls in their hands.

too true,

paradiso is a pretty nice venue though, so that makes up for the scummy ones. but i wouldn't want to be found dead on the london calling festival. i fucking loathe it... or actually it's more just the kind of crowds it attracts.

The Liverpool barfly is pretty nice, but it depends what stage you're on. I'm assuming the main one, upstairs. You will like it. The upstairs is pretty decently sized, and the sound is good.

Play in MN.
