One thing no one's ever mentioned about Wire (so I must be wrong) is how fucking FUNNY they are! They are obviously having such a good time being so weird and different, so at ease with their collective genius, that every Wire listen is an uplifting experience.

Never thought they are funny to be honest. One of the best live bands I've ever seen.

And don't neglect their more recent stuff. The last album was great.

Also, from what I remember, the first Peel Session. Can't find the whole thing online anywhere. Hints? Also, the Peel Session had a song called "Culture Vultures." Anyone know if there's a studio version? Is it a b-side?

Holy shit I love these records.

First three albums would all easily make my top fifty albums of all time. I fucking love this band. Might be seeing them next week too.
