get a blue box. they are more fun.

Haven't tried either, but Voodoo Lab is considered a higher end company compared to boss.

I have a Boss Blues Driver and I like it, but I really feel that the other ones like te SDs and ODs might be a bit better, even though some of them are less.
I'm thinking about getting my Blues Driver modded so that it is less shrill sounding.

Yeah, those Blues Drivers are real popular. Haven't really used them.
If you wanna go real cheap you could try the new Electro HArmonix Nano Muff ods.

blues drivers and super overdrives are okay for the price

super od is better though.

Exactly what kind of OD sound are you looking for Fishmonkey?

Bright and transparent = Blues Driver
Middy and thick = Tube Screamer
More gritty, but without a high gain sound = Boss OD series, Muff OD, etc.
