are you life coaching yourself or is this aimed at someone else?

dead_battery 05.17.2013 06:27 PM

Or is this about someone you know

Rob Instigator 05.20.2013 08:17 AM

Good list. I need all those things but I would add one more

LOUD SKRONK!

don't know about you guys but a clean comfy toilet is paramount, and with a good view of the mountains it's superior to doing it in the great outdoors. here's to running water, cornerstone of civilization.

Rob Instigator 05.20.2013 09:10 AM

running water indeed.

Prejudice seems pretty popular.

A place to go to get away from all the BS

I'm not attempting to knock your list, but I do want to point out a few things:

I know of Native Alaskan's and have read about Aborigines who have no desire or need for money.

There are millionaires who live in the biggest homes money can buy, but yet they don't feel safe, secure or satisfied.

At the same time, people of very meager means are very happy and secure with who they are and what they have.

Personally, I feel your bottom three should be the top three. If you have those things, you have it all!

hippie!!

but yea, you're absolutely right.

this reminds me of patti smith's xmas prayer for some philly radio... i heard it recorded in some live show from the 70s, forget which

this is a version:

my favorite part is this:

to have no need for the apparatus
of the operating room
to be safe from all bodily harm
to know love without exception
to be a saint in any form

- A safe place to live and feel comfortable
-Money to pay for food and other expenses
-Something worthwhile to do, such as working at a job or going to school to learn a new skill
-Adequate transportation
-Finding a way to balance the activities in your life
-Hobbies or activities you enjoy doing
-Friends, love, and a sense of belonging in your life
-An intimate sexual relationship if you choose to have one
-Feeling healthy--physically, emotionally, and spiritually

People who are not feeling well may not realize they have these needs.

illness.

You're indoctrinated to believe they're essential human needs as each one is centred around a profit mongering industry hellbent on keeping its shareholders happy. If you don't follow the above doctrines you'll be made to feel an outsider, like you don't belong to the human race. It's total bullshit.

Rob Instigator 06.07.2013 11:13 AM

The only essential needs of a human are

shelter
food
water

The crucial-to-our-mental-well-being needs are

community
sex
comfort

If you just let the Love of God into your heart you will find that is all you need.

Rob Instigator 06.07.2013 02:48 PM

Tesla you are making me laugh too much while at work.

I love how everyone who believes in a specific "saviour/messiah" just dismisses the beliefs of millions and millions of humans who "worshipped" shit in the tens of thousands of years before their specific messiah showed up.

They were just God's Beta testers!!!
