Good Music Documentaries
I want some good music dvds to watch, any suggestions? Which ones did you enjoy the most?
Ive got: Hendrix- band fo gypsys Hendrix- live at monterey Hype that one on punk on ifc a summer or 2 ago.... SY- Kool Things/Silver Rockets:20 yrs SY- 1991:TYPB Dylan- No Direction Home Minutemen- We Jam Econo I recently ordered that daniel johnston one and am waiting for it to arrive, what did you all think of it? |

dig! is great too. i hate the dandy warhols and the brianjonestownmassacre but together they make an entertaining watch!
oh and the metallica one, some kind of monster.... amazing if u dislike metallica with a vengence!!! |
The Devil and Daniel Johnston is an obvious must-see.
TYPB and the other SY ones are interesting too. |

I just got the new Mission of Burma one, called "Not a Photograph". It documents their reunion and first shows together. I enjoyed it a lot.

Not strictly a music documentary but Saint Etienne's 'Finisterre' is one that i've really enjoyed.
