the worst thing I ever heard asked was to my girlfriend in her first week in halls in first year, a girl asked her if it was true that women had to wear a black headscarf for the rest of their lives if they knew someone who died in a bombing. The same girl then thought it would be hilarious to go round telling people there was an IRA member in her halls
