I don't think there is a law stating that we must receive paid holidays, most of us get it anyways though. I do.
Yr culture is clearly better than ours. Wonder how many family member from yr past either a) wanted to, or b) actually did move here.
We're a big melting pot for a reason.
All that stuff boils down to nothing more than entertainment, in the way that travel...or big screen TV's...is not really nec. for survival.
