no problem dude!! I mean, you're ALWAYS reccomending badass albums for me, so it's the least I can do. I hear great electro albums all the time but I only reccomend the ones that really "Fox it" for me, you know? Haha. I think I know the kinda sound you enjoy.
Anyway, yeah, that Omni Trio disc is just incredible, I LOVE the hard, driving drums on it, and the simple melodies. I like it because the album only has a few elements, the melodies often only using a note or two, but it works, especially on the darker tracks... it jsut never feels boring, despite only having a few elements in each song; it's just awesome....
That Technical Itch album "Diagnostics" will be one you fucking love, too, especially if you're into Photek's Modus Operandi. It's just really rare to find such well-produced and awesome-sounding dark synth/ghostly atmospherics, with such complex and awesome beats... I just love electronic music that's dark as hell...
I know I reccomend it everywhere, but I highly reccomend Redshape's "Dance Paradox" if you don't have it; it's just such an addicting album... it's only like 38 minutes long, and it just has a cool sound to it. And it's really new, so I'm excited for his future (all his little ep's, like 2012, are really good too)... It has a detroit techno sorta sound to it, but with a nice atmospheric sound.
I've mainly just been listening to Drexciya (who made the OTHER PEOPLE'S PLACE album; his stuff as Drexciya was absolutely incredible too -- he's just a master of a really unique, floaty, cool sound; one of the best producers ever, honstly) and Alex Smoke (his new one, Lux, from 2010, is one of my favorite of the year; kinda dark minimal techno, imagine The Field but darker and slightly less melodic).
