The Doki Doki Panic one. I hate the Lost Levels, I am so glad they didn't release that here. It's the same exact game as the first one, but harder. WOW!
But the Doki Doki Panic release is just brilliant, it takes you to new worlds, and introduces tons of brilliant gameplay elements. That part in level 4 where you ride Birdo's egg for like 30 seconds straight is one of my favorite things in any game ever. Also in one of the levels, you're traveling from magic carpet to magic carpet.
That feeling of flying through the air, running from creepy masks after stealing their keys -- the gameplay is effortless, the game just never fails to be fun as fuck.
Too bad there are only 4 musical tracks in the entire game, though.
