ok, so I was supporting Drake for a while. I was hyping up SO FAR GONE was it was still a mixtape. I was telling everyone that "Best I Ever Had" was song of the year. I've mentioned I've loved ever single that Drake has released (a feat only matched by Lady Gaga in recent years. It is what it is). I watched the documentary about this album and loved every moment of it the week before the album was released. And yet I waited MONTHS to get this album. Maybe a small piece of me didnt want to ruin something perfect. Drake to me was so great, my expectations so high... why ruin it? What if the album was NOT as good as it SHOULD be?
Well... it's a strong contender for album of the year.
