Totally agree with this.
I saw Deerhoof in Buffalo a few years back and Greg was incredible. On the very first song they played, he busted a stick and just started playing with his hand instead. Didn't miss a beat. And the whole time, he's laughing and carrying on like a mad man, like he's having the time of his life just bashing away with his hand. It was awesome, and totally infectious. I had such a great time at that show. I talked to him for a few minutes afterwards, and he's a hell of nice dude too.
