Salvia is not
worse than datura. The experiences are two completely different states of mind, and it's very dependent on the salvia extract and ingestion method for both (datura can be administered in many different ways). My salvia experiences have been 10fold more enjoyable and entheogenic than my datura experience, though I used 5x salvia.
The main criticisms to salvia arise because of young people assuming salvia will be like a marijuana high, and going out and getting 40x or some extremely high extract, and getting absolutely terrified.
Though salvia is certainly a 'weird' high compared to the way other psychoactives operate. I wish more awareness would spread about it not being so 'recreational' as people think when taking higher extracts / doses.
