We should have that right, yes. The only problem with that is that secrets are seldom any good. Most people these days have difficulty dealing with even small fry problematic shit. Maybe DeadDisco was right, people are fucking stupid. Of course I don't like to believe this, not yet, but I do seem to notice a gradual decline in the average intellect. Kids may be beginning to read at earlier ages, but plenty of them are still in fact being raised by adults who seldom seem to be able to discuss much past their home lives, work, favorite tv shows/fast food chain. It sometimes feels very Philip K. Dickian, and it is spooky. That said, for good or bad, I do think that if everyone knew everything chaos would ensue. People have become dependent on too much....what they can buy, some stupid little coat for their dog they feel they just "gotta have". People have become addicted to accessorizing their lives with utter bullshit. Seems as if almost every other person I meet is addicted to some sort of drug (mostly legal/prescription-written shit) they've been told they "need" to function normally in society.
I just don't think most have the mental capacity to deal with too much...
