Daniel Ellsburg once told a great story about the Nixon Admin; Nixon is in his office with his staff discussing dropping nukes on North Vietnam and Nixon looked out the window and saw a million people protesting the war on the lawn in DC whatever its called and decided dropping nukes would be a bad idea.
