I just hope it's better than Thurston and Jandek were, which will all be up to Jandek. If he plays songs with words, it will be well worth seeing. If he does what he did when he played with Thurston and sets himself up to be massively upstaged by a better musician, it could be painful. I love Jandek and appreciate him taking risks, but he really shouldn't throw what he is great at out the window.
