I'm not quite sure why Moonstone decided to open with their recent humorous "soft rock" direction rather than the insanely well-crafted space-prog that made them one of my favorite bands in my area, but they did eventually get to meatier material after you (and yes, quite a few othes) had left.
Totally polarized the crowd; the people who stayed really liked them, but the people who didn't like it were quite vocal.
Thanks for the kind words about our stuff and again for coming down and saying hi. I was really happy and a little surprised at how kind the whole crowd was to us. Felt amazing, really.
