it wasn't that SY was on a major that Albini criticised, it was the way SY went around practically recruiting for Geffen, which I agree, was in rather poor taste, and if SY was sooo cool with a major, why'd they go to Matador, the precise label that Albini suggested they go with in the 90s in the first place?
