His demo's are extremely psychedelic. Or NOISY.

Though I agree with what you mean. I too find it a loaded term most of the time.

But it doesnt have to be applied extremely to the music to make it psych.

Their music is psychedelic in a subtle way. Combination of chord changes, recording quality, and odd usage of sounds definitely set them apart from other typical garage bands. (at least out of the san fran scene, cuz everyone there sounds like this to an extent, except thee oh sees are the kings of that scene)

Maybe I should say, garage punk with a taste of ghostly noise rock?


That said, that's just my opinion and yr an older dude, are there any modern bands you would reccomend me that you think are psych? or do you think music hasnt been psychedelic since the 60s when it was new and now it's just the norm?
